Asleep at the Wheel to perform with the Fort Worth Symphony

Asleep at the Wheel to perform with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra – with special guest Quebe Sisters. September 11-13. Will Rogers Auditorium

The musicianship of Asleep at the Wheel has come to be the stuff of legends. Pegged by Reuters as “one of the best lives acts in the business,” the multi-GRAMMY award-winning band joins forces with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra for an exciting opening concert to the 2020-21 Pops Series in celebration of its 50th anniversary. This concert will last approximately 80 minutes and there will be no intermission.

The Quebe Sisters

Much like Ray Benson of Asleep at the Wheel, The Quebe Sisters believe innovation is the secret of the genre’s success. The Quebe Sisters differentiate themselves as “Progressive Western Swing” and have performed in concert halls and festivals in North America, Europe, and Russia.
