No entity has supported the local music scene for the past 20 years like the Fort Worth Weekly, and they’re going all out with the upcoming 20th Music Awards Festival – (The Big 2-0).
Sunday will be a one-stop shop to see all those local bands you’ve had on your list but could never find the time to see. The schedule is perfect for all you early birds, running from 5 PM to 10 PM.
The festival will take place at eight venues throughout the Near Southside and include forty acts, including Royal Sons, Mean Motor Scooter, Meach Pango, Tornup, Dagger Club and Son of Stan.
If you consider yourself a Fort Worther this is an event you have to scratch off your list.
Along with great music there will be plenty of people-watching and food
to be had. Those who want to indulge in a few adult beverages can take advantage of the complimentary venue-to-venue shuttle service provided by Bowery Apartments. Be sure to catch a ride home.
The festival is FREE so get out, support the scene and give a big THANK YOU to the Fort Worth Weekly.
